This project includes 130+ miles of cleaning and removal of sediment, debris, roots, gravel, sand and/or unwanted vegetation from existing drainage assets to their original hydraulic capacity and function. CCTV / video inspection is conducted of existing drainage pipes, box culverts, basins, and structures at various locations throughout Region South, Central and North, including Routes US 1, 9, 27, US 30, US 40, 73, 206 and I-295.

A complete inventory of the existing roadway drainage system is being compiled within the jurisdiction of the Department. Other work items include erosion control, MPT, roadway excavation unclassified, disposal of solid waste and regulated material, clearing site, bicycle safe grates, and VMS signing.

In addition, KENJ is providing the RE with technical support, responses to contractor e-mails, preparation of daily inspection reports, review of certified payrolls for prime and subcontractors and quantities for the monthly payment vouchers. Reporting is saved in the Site Manager System.
