KENJ has been providing quality and responsive engineering services for approximately 7 years dating back to April 1st, 2017. The base of operations moved from Camden to Haddonfield in May 2023. KENJ has worked feverishly to become integrated within the social fabric and vision for South Jersey. The firm is certified as a DBE, SBE and MBE by the State of NJ, DBE/SBE by the Port Authority of NY & NJ and DBE by PAUCP.
The day-to-day operations of KENJ is managed by President, Samir D. Mody, PE. Sam has over 40 years’ experience in the administration, management, design, and construction of civil/transportation projects in the Northeast Region of the United States. His experience includes planning, design and construction of bridges, highways, aviation, and commuter rail/transit infrastructure with an aggregate value of $4.75B during his career, while serving both the public and private industries. Our transportation clients range from State and Public Agencies including the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA), South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA), Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), Delaware River Joint Bridge Commission (DRJTBC), Burlington County Bridge Commission (BCBC), The Port Authority of NY & NJ (PANY & NJ), NJ Southern Counties, Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) and North Jersey Transportation Planning Association (NJTPA), while the private sector ranges from attorneys, developers, private homeowners and local Municipalities.
