The proposed project is an Express Self-Storage Facility on a commercially zoned parcel bordered by Route US 322 and Jobs Lane. Both lots are currently wooded, and brush covered, with a few small asphalt and concrete paved areas remaining from previous residential use.

Site improvements include construction of four drive-up self-storage buildings, one climate controlled self-storage building with an office, a new 24’ access driveway, a 13-stall parking lot, 15’ drive aisles around the storage buildings, utility connections, landscape plan, site lighting, and a stormwater management facility. The Facility will have approximately 250 operational units during the first opening. The perimeter will be secured with a security fence with a 36 8K camera system that will monitor the storage facility and fences.

Keller Engineers responsibilities included: ALTA / boundary and topographic survey and mapping, conceptual sketch plans, comprehensive site development design, extensive environmental studies, construction drawings, design of a vehicle access driveway and parking lot, renderings/exhibits, stormwater management, soil erosion and sediment control plan, NPDES permit, utility extensions, coordination with project stakeholders and subconsultants, and preparation and submission of municipal applications. Approvals were secured from NJDOT, Gloucester County Engineering, Fire Marshall and Soil Conservation District, Monroe Township Board Professionals and MMUA and the NJ Pinelands Commission.
